The ManaForge forum has received a visual refresh.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been updating different parts of The ManaForge to create a more consistent, modern experience across the website. The forum was one of the areas that still stood apart from the rest of the site — so it was time to bring it into the forge as well.

The new design brings the forum much closer to the look and feel of the main website, with an updated header, navigation, styling and overall layout. The goal wasn’t to reinvent how the forum works, but to make it feel like a true part of The ManaForge.

Same forum, new look

All the familiar forum sections, topics and discussions are still where you expect them to be. What has changed is the presentation around them.

The refreshed forum now offers:

• A design that better matches the rest of The ManaForge
• Updated navigation and header styling
• Cleaner and more consistent buttons and interface elements
• Improved desktop presentation and spacing
• A more cohesive experience when moving between the website and the forum

This is part of a broader series of improvements being made across The ManaForge, from our content and deckbuilding tools to the Cardmarket Tracker and other features.

Finding a new Commander is easy if you already know what you are looking for. Finding one that genuinely matches the way you want to play is much harder. With thousands of possible commanders — and an ever-growing number of partner combinations — simply scrolling through popular lists can quickly lead you back to the same familiar names.

The new Find My Commander was built to approach that problem differently.

Instead of asking you to start with a specific card, the tool builds a play profile around the deck you actually want to create. Across five focused steps, you can choose your preferred color identity and game plan, add themes and mechanics that interest you, describe how you want the deck to feel at the table and decide whether you would rather stay with established commanders or venture further off the beaten path.

Those choices are then evaluated against the current Commander-legal card pool. Color identity acts as the hard filter, while strategies, mechanics, pace, complexity and table role contribute to an explainable match score. Creature types can also be added when you want to explore a particular typal direction without making it the only thing that defines the search.

The new engine also looks beyond individual legendary creatures. Legal Commander pairings are considered as complete commander options, allowing combinations involving Partner, Partner with, Choose a Background, Friends Forever and Doctor's Companion to appear alongside traditional single commanders.

But finding the mathematically closest match is only part of the goal.

Find My Commander deliberately diversifies its recommendations so that the result is not simply several variations of the same idea. Your discovery set can include the strongest overall match alongside a Hidden Gem, a more established alternative, a commander that approaches your preferences from a different angle or even a credible Wildcard that you may never have considered yourself.

You can also control how adventurous that search should be. Choose popular commanders, aim for a balanced mix or give lesser-played options more room to surface when their strategic fit is strong. Popularity helps shape discovery, but it never replaces the actual match between a commander and the profile you created.

Every recommendation is designed to be understandable as well. Rather than simply presenting a card and asking you to trust the result, Find My Commander shows why a recommendation fits and breaks down the different elements contributing to its match score.

The result is less of a Commander search box and more of a discovery engine: one designed not just to confirm the commanders you already know, but to help you find the ones you didn't know you were looking for.

As The ManaForge continues to grow, so does the amount of content available across the site. Articles, videos, Magic Digest updates and other resources all serve a different purpose, but they should still feel like part of the same platform.

The redesigned Content Hub brings those different forms of content together in one clear and consistent environment.

Rather than treating every section as a separate destination, the new layout makes it easier to browse across The ManaForge as a whole. Recent content is easier to discover, individual content types are more clearly presented, and the overall structure has been simplified so that finding something interesting requires fewer clicks.

The visual design has also been rebuilt to better match the rest of the current ManaForge experience. Content receives more space, navigation is clearer and the page is designed to remain useful as the library continues to expand.

Most importantly, the new Content Hub is not just a cosmetic update. It provides a stronger foundation for the future of The ManaForge, allowing articles, videos, Digest coverage and new types of original content to live together without sacrificing clarity.

Whether you are looking for a longer strategy article, the latest Magic developments or something new to watch, the Content Hub is now the best place to start exploring The ManaForge.

As the number of articles on the site continues to grow, a simple chronological list becomes less and less useful. Older guides can still be just as relevant as something published yesterday — but only if you can actually find them.

The renewed article library is designed around that idea.

Articles are now presented as a proper library rather than just a feed. You can browse the collection, search for specific subjects and narrow things down based on the kind of content you are looking for. The new structure also gives individual articles more room to communicate their topic and intended audience before you start reading.

For The ManaForge, this is more than a visual update. It creates a much stronger foundation for expanding our original content over time.

Commander strategy, deckbuilding, rules, probability, multiplayer theory and other Magic topics can now live together without making the archive increasingly difficult to navigate.
