Flickering Hound enables a creature-cast blink loop for infinite mana

Reality Fracture’s newly revealed Flickering Hound changes the familiar Displacer Kitten pattern: it blinks another creature whenever you cast a creature spell. That distinction makes the Dog a flexible value engine for creature-heavy Commander decks, where each new cast can repeat an enters-the-battlefield ability. It also creates a specific loop with Shrieking Drake and Peregrine Drake.

Cast Shrieking Drake and use the Hound’s trigger to blink Peregrine Drake, untapping five lands. When Shrieking Drake enters, return it to your hand; then use one of the untapped blue-producing lands to cast it again. The remaining untapped mana accumulates each pass, while the repeated entries can feed an appropriate payoff. Whitemane Lion and Palinchron offer analogous roles, although their costs and colors alter the required mana.
