Reality Fracture's self-mill cards have given Standard sacrifice decks a new combo finish. In the September 23 Early Access event, an Orzhov build centered on Darklight Phoenix went 7–1 in best-of-one play while demonstrating a line that can mill its entire library and deal more than 40 damage in one turn.
Liliana, the Repentant and Dark Matter Manipulator fill the graveyard, while Lake-Town Lookout moves Phoenixes out of hand and supplies two bodies for sacrifice. Greedy Freebooter adds expendable material and artifact tokens. Umbral Collar Zealot is the critical sacrifice outlet, and Obsessive Pursuit keeps the deck functioning before the combo by producing Clues and placing counters on a Phoenix.
