Reality Fracture’s eighth story chapter moves Jace’s plan from threat to active catastrophe. After Vraska gathers more of Jace’s fragmented selves, the heroes launch their first attack from inside the Theorist’s mind. The intervention slows him, but it does not stop the spell.
The decisive turn comes through oracle Jadzi. By following her consciousness back to the creation of Arcavios, the Theorist witnesses two planes colliding and learns the mechanism he needs. Jadzi dies in the process, and Jace returns with the knowledge to connect the Echoverse to the original Multiverse world by world and atom by atom.
The recovered Jace fragments briefly overwhelm him, but the Theorist forces them back and separates the heroes from their Echoverse counterparts. By the chapter’s end, the overwrite has begun and he insists it can no longer be stopped. That materially changes the story’s status quo: the conflict is no longer about preventing an untested plan, but interrupting a live merger after the first counterattack has failed.
