Secret Lair “Countdown Kit: An Encyclopedia of Magic”

Wizards of the Coast has announced the next holiday-style Secret Lair: Countdown Kit — An Encyclopedia of Magic, going on sale November 3, 2025 exclusively at MagicSecretLair.com and in limited quantities.

The product contains 26 individually wrapped cards—one for each letter of the alphabet. Wizards says you can “open them all at once or savor the anticipation,” and notes that while all copies include traditional foils, some packs may contain rarer Halo foils. Each card features a different artist, including several making their Magic debut. MSRP is $199.99 (USD).

Wizards also reiterates that the Countdown Kit will be sold only through the Secret Lair storefront; fans can sign up for email alerts ahead of the drop.
