Piotr Głogowski won the 2026 Magic Online Champions Showcase Season 2 final, finishing the eight-player event at 5–2 and earning $13,000. Asha Mills Emmett also finished 5–2, placed second on tiebreakers and received $11,000. Both finalists secured invitations to the Magic: The Gathering World Championship.
The double qualification is the main competitive consequence of the event. A 5–2 record did not separate the two leaders, so standings and tiebreak procedures determined the champion while preserving the second Worlds seat for Mills Emmett. The remaining six competitors finished between 4–3 and 1–6, with prize money descending through the final table.
Because the Champions Showcase final contains only eight players, the result should not be read as a broad metagame trend. It is a high-leverage qualification event rather than an open tournament with hundreds of decklists. Its significance comes from the stakes: the final converted a season of Magic Online competition into two World Championship berths and awarded the largest shares of the event purse.
For followers of organized play, the standings now add Głogowski and Mills Emmett to the Worlds field. The result also confirms that identical match records can produce different final placements without changing qualification when two invitations are available.
