Reality Fracture has given Standard a new Ensoul Artifact strategy built around Puppet Crafting. The two-mana enchantment turns an artifact into a 5/5 creature, letting a deck convert otherwise low-impact one-mana artifacts into an immediate clock. Nutrient Block and Vibranium Energy Daggers are the most important targets because they are indestructible: either can enter on turn one and attack as a 5/5 from turn three after being animated on turn two.
The shell works because Puppet Crafting is not the only animation effect. Zoetic Glyph provides a three-mana version with discover upside, Case of the Filched Falcon can make a noncreature artifact into a flying 4/4, and Tough Cookie offers a temporary 4/4 mode. Sixteen functional animation effects make the plan substantially more consistent than a deck relying on four copies of one enchantment. Fugitive Droid and Gingerbrute trade indestructibility for evasion, although Case and Tough Cookie cannot animate them because they are already artifact creatures.
The strategy is unusually inexpensive: the tested build uses four non-land rares and was estimated around $65 in paper. Early-access games produced roughly a 50% win rate, possibly slightly better, but the exact record was not tracked. That result should be treated as functional validation rather than a metagame forecast.
The weaknesses are concrete. Exile and bounce answer the indestructible targets, Fugitive Droid and Gingerbrute still die to ordinary removal, and fast opposing aggro can race the setup. Fugitive Droid can sacrifice itself to counter a spell targeting another permanent, which partly protects the primary threat. The shell therefore offers a credible budget entry point and a fast new Reality Fracture line, while remaining an early prototype rather than an established tiered deck.
