Aminatou
A child who treats destiny as something she can change
Aminatou sees possible futures and nudges them with intangible moths. She chose an early spark ignition herself, but immense knowledge has not made her choices any less those of a child.
Profile
Why Aminatou matters
Aminatou did not wait for the future in which her spark would ignite. Having foreseen it, she brought that moment forward and began travelling while still a child. Knowledge of many possible lives gives her unusual composure, not an adult's settled judgement.
Her mothlike wisps alter the destinies of people they touch. A tiny intervention can change a meeting; a larger one can shift a death. She follows disturbances across planes with curiosity and a willingness to rearrange other people's futures. Her own birthplace remains unnamed, and she prefers possibilities ahead to explanations of what she left behind.
Later, Aminatou helped Kaito and Proft open the temporary passage that brought Duskmourn's rescuers home.
