Breya
Researcher who carries Esper's experiment into her own body
Breya challenges Esper's dependence on dwindling etherium. Her success brings a new uncertainty: metal made with Jund's wild magic does not behave like the old supply.
Profile
Why Breya matters
Breya was a human researcher in Esper when the Conflux joined Alara's shards. She led an expedition into Jund and returned with carmot, the missing material needed to make etherium. The discovery challenged Esper's assumed dependence on finite etherium.
Her test was Armix, a golem built from the new alloy. It remained obedient but became dangerously erratic: the metal carried power absent from Esper's long-refined stock. Breya regarded the experiment as a success.
She replaced most of her organic body with her own etherium. Jund's magic gave her new abilities.
