Bruse Tarl
A stubborn herder learning a gentler kind of authority
Bruse came from Zendikar with a cattleman's stubbornness. On Thunder Junction, the struggle with his herd became something warmer: a protector caring for animals gathered from many worlds.
Profile
Why Bruse Tarl matters
Bruse's work began on Zendikar, where cattle and cattleman were equally unwilling to be pushed around. Dealing with a stubborn animal was familiar work, not an adventure that needed a prophecy to make it matter.
Thunder Junction changed the relationship. There he cared for affectionate oxen from across the Multiverse, keeping a loyal watch over animals that wanted his company. His new role retained the practical demands of herding while replacing constant conflict with attachment. A different world offered a different way to do a familiar job.
