Ragavan
A first mate with quick hands
Ragavan works beside Kari Zev as an alert accomplice, risking capture and making trouble for their enemies from the deck of Dragon's Smile.
Profile
Why Ragavan matters
During the revolt, Ragavan opens captured aether cargo after Jace's diversion. Beside Kari Zev, Depala and Jace, he joins the attack on the Consulate's aerial blockade.
He warns Kari when enforcers board. An incoming net catches him before it reaches her, but confinement does not stop him searching his captor's pockets.
Kari retrieves him. Their aether lure draws skywhales against Skysovereign; Ragavan returns to the deck rather than remaining a trophy in an officer's net.
During Phyrexia's invasion, Kari orders her first mate to watch Baral for deception. Their forced wartime alliance does not settle the old conflict.
