A destroyer whose betrayal was already in the plan
Tevesh Szat turned loss into a campaign against life itself. Urza recruited him despite his treachery, then made that predictable betrayal part of another ruthless calculation.

Why Tevesh Szat matters
After a zealot murdered his sister, Tev Loneglade renamed himself Tevesh Szat and adopted a monstrous draconic form. Loss became a campaign against other lives.
He manipulated rulers through paranoia and killed directly when persuasion failed. Sarpadia, Storgard and the Elder Dragon Chromium were among the victims of his interference.
Urza nevertheless recruited him into the Nine Titans for the assault on Phyrexia. A shared enemy did not make Szat trustworthy. It placed a known danger inside a force whose leader believed he could make that danger useful.
Szat murdered two fellow Titans before Urza killed him and used his essence to power soul bombs. His betrayal was anticipated, not evidence that Urza had safely protected the group. Szat died; the calculation that consumed him also exposed the mission's moral failure.
