The Multiverse remembers here

Dominaria

Civilisations rise over the scars of world-changing wars on the plane where much of Magic's oldest history still shapes the present.

Plane profile

A world worth knowing

Dominaria is less a single setting than a library of living ages. Benalian plains, Shiv's volcanoes, Tolaria's wounded timelines, Urborg's swamps and Yavimaya's forests all carry different histories. Travelling across the plane can feel like moving between genres as much as continents.

Urza and Mishra's war changed the climate and opened the path toward Phyrexia. Generations later, the Weatherlight and the Legacy stopped an invasion, only for accumulated magical disasters to tear time itself. Repairing those rifts caused the Mending and changed planeswalkers everywhere.

Dominaria repeatedly survives by turning memory into responsibility. Rebuilt nations, returning heroes and the restoration of Zhalfir do not erase earlier catastrophes; they add another layer. That is why old names keep becoming relevant and why the plane remains the clearest map of cause and consequence in the Multiverse.
