Kasmina
A mentor who watches more than she explains
Kasmina's warnings about possible disasters make mentorship an instrument of long planning. She brings promising mages to Strixhaven while her owls watch the paths they take—and threats they may never notice.
Profile
Why Kasmina matters
Kasmina sees futures that convince her the Multiverse faces catastrophe. She works through influence rather than an announced campaign, treating even high costs as acceptable if they prevent the disaster she expects. The calm mentor and the calculating observer are parts of the same person.
She brought Rowan and Will Kenrith to Strixhaven and gave them room to enter its unfamiliar life. Her owls supplied a second view of the campus and the wilderness beyond it, where she also watched Lukka's movements. Guidance did not mean telling her students everything she could see.
After the Oriq attack, Kasmina shifted her attention away from Lukka and toward Rowan, or perhaps both twins. Much later, during the field-study crisis, her name carried an uneasy reputation among students and staff. Her influence had become part of the school's troubling memory, not simply a promise of help.
