A world worth knowing
Arcavios formed when two ancient worlds overlapped and opposing colours of mana knotted together instead of blending smoothly. That collision left luminous Snarls across the plane and produced five Founder Dragons, living expressions of enemy-colour dichotomies. Even the landscape carries the argument between forces that should conflict but create something new when held together.
Strixhaven University turns those tensions into study. Silverquill explores expression and ambition, Prismari art and elemental spectacle, Witherbloom the cycle of life and death, Lorehold history and discovery, and Quandrix the mathematics beneath reality. The Biblioplex gathers knowledge at the centre, making the campus a prize for scholars, opportunists and enemies such as the secretive Oriq.
The Phyrexian invasion scarred the university, killed teachers and forced students to defend the institution they had only begun to understand. Omenpaths now make Arcavios unusually accessible, bringing new students and new risks from across the Multiverse. Its central question has widened with its doors: who should control knowledge when every lesson can cross worlds?
