Raw magic keeps teaching life how to outgrow every map.
Muraganda
Muraganda is a primordial world of broken moons, exposed leylines and relentless evolution, where immense creatures and ambitious young powers compete among the ruins of an older magical age.
Plane profile
A world worth knowing
Muraganda looks prehistoric, but its wildness is the result of history rather than an absence of it. An ancient plane-spanning civilisation discovered magic and collapsed in a catastrophe that shattered the moons. Their fragments still fall as moon-strikes, while ruined cities and forgotten glyphs lie beneath jungles that have reclaimed almost every road. Exposed leylines, volcanic upheaval and the residue of that disaster drive life toward startling size and adaptation.
Civilisation returned in forms shaped by the new world. The Saurid Autocracy rules through rigid caste and expanding infrastructure, placing saurid dynasties above human subjects. Fang Druids defend crater jungles through knowledge shared among apes and humans, while ley mages raise towers beside eruptions of raw mana and send glyphunters into dangerous ruins. The Telu-Set and many smaller communities follow their own laws, loyalties and relationships with the beasts around them.
Oozes are as fundamental to Muraganda as dinosaurs. Some are droplets and others moving lakes; some absorb impressions from the beings they consume. The Mimeoplasm has gathered religious, ecological and political meanings that no single culture controls. When Avishkar's Grand Prix cut a track across the plane, a treaty with one government was treated as permission from an entire world. Moonfalls, raiders, colossal animals and the living terrain answered that assumption. Muraganda did not merely host the race—it exposed how easily interplanar access can become occupation.
