The expedition ends with new histories, unresolved threats and travellers whose journeys continue beyond Ixalan.

Huatli emerged with a fuller account of her people’s past and a harder diplomatic task. Aclazotz could rally forces above, the emperor could use the caverns to justify expansion and the Oltec needed time that every outside faction was eager to spend for them.

Quintorius treated the findings as evidence that scholarship must remain open to correction. Kellan treated the journey as another stage in learning how little a single heroic objective can contain. He had helped people whose struggle would continue after he followed the next clue toward Oko.

The caverns changed Ixalan by connecting histories rather than merely revealing a hidden location. Like the Omenpaths between planes, the opened door could carry understanding or conquest. Its existence was neutral; the relationships built through it would not be.
