Tibalt tells his own account as a saga because authorship matters to him almost as much as destruction. Vorinclex ambushed him, planted a seed inside him and promised to remove it only after Tibalt created a large enough distraction. The arrangement is coercion, but Tibalt edits humiliation into proof of his supposed brilliance.
Disguised as Valki, he murders the dwarf Koll and steals the unfinished Sword of the Realms. Its Tyrite blade gives him reliable access to the World Tree's pathways. He feeds Harald's inherited anger toward the Skoti, promises Varragoth a route out of Immersturm and provokes wars whose participants believe they are settling their own ancient claims.
Tibalt also releases Koma into Starnheim, denying the Valkyries a secure refuge while the realms converge. He leaves a visible trail into Immersturm so Kaya will pursue him. The spectacle is not the mission; it is the noise around Vorinclex. Kaldheim is being taught to look at the loudest villain while the true theft proceeds elsewhere.
