Decades of construction emptied mines, forests and treasuries across Terisiare. Argoth still held resources in abundance because its people and guardian, Titania, had resisted the industrial appetite surrounding them. To the two war machines, that survival made the island look less like a sovereign home and more like an untouched supply depot.
Urza and Mishra landed armies on Argoth despite local resistance. Trees became timber, soil became a battlefield and creatures defending their world were classified as obstacles. Titania’s forces fought both invaders, exposing the lie that either brother still represented a clean side in the conflict.
The struggle on Argoth concentrated everything the war had become: invention without restraint, politics narrowed to conquest and a natural world asked to pay for human obsession. Even victory over the opposing army could no longer repair the island. The only remaining question was how much of Dominaria would be taken with it.
