Naiva stands before Bolas trying to protect the hiding place of her grandmother and sister. He turns the conversation toward her private resentment: Baishya has a gift she lacks, and the family repeatedly asks Naiva to guard it. A real insecurity becomes the point at which an outside will can push her further than she intended to go.
Under that pressure, she approaches Baishya with a knife. Ugin's influence breaks the invasive connection, and Yasova intervenes before the attack is completed. Naiva must face what happened without mistaking Bolas's coercion for proof that her sister deserved her anger.
The encounter revisits the dragon brothers' broken bond at a different scale. Nicol tried to make closeness a right to enter and command Ugin's mind. Naiva still has a choice after the violation: defend the person whose difference made her feel lesser, or accept the hierarchy the dragon has offered her. Recovery begins when she chooses the first.
