Despite her wound, Etrata raises the second ward anchor. When the ribbons slip from Kaya's hands, Kaya bends a ghost branch into the bindings and senses another helper holding them taut. Oba is subdued before Etrata collapses; Teysa's ghost later confirms her help.
Oba was stopped, but arrest could not resolve Trostani’s fracture or restore Teysa. The case protected Ravnica from further killings and exposed a wound the guilds could no longer call private. Justice began with the truth; recovery would require the city to do something with it.
