A HOME IS MORE THAN ITS RULER
Mirrodin: Resistance and Rule
Follow the people who keep a damaged world alive, the defender remade against it and the authority that mistakes control for unity.
Why this story matters
The route in brief
These portraits span different periods, not one shared journey. Begin with the work of surviving: preserving memory, protecting bodies and accepting a duty that outlasts one battle.
The contrast is not simply between strength and weakness. Care and authority take different forms, and an imposed order can call itself natural while depending on deliberate violence. A claim of unity must still answer for the lives it spends.
Each numbered Key Moment opens the chapter that describes its action. The profile keeps that person's account together; the chapter supplies surrounding context. Follow both before treating one encounter as a whole life, and do not turn an unrecorded later fate into a confident ending.
