Unity enforced one body at a time
New Phyrexia
Phyrexian oil transformed Mirrodin into a layered machine world whose five factions pursued competing versions of imposed perfection.
Plane profile
A world worth knowing
New Phyrexia is Mirrodin after conquest, but the victors never shared one philosophy. White sought obedience, blue refinement, black supremacy, red autonomy and green predation. Their praetors built separate domains around those ideals while Mirran survivors fought to keep any part of their former world and selves.
Elesh Norn forced the factions beneath her vision and grew Realmbreaker into a bridge for multiversal invasion. That campaign made compleation a threat to countless worlds, yet its dependence on central authority also became a weakness. The invasion ended with New Phyrexia phased beyond reach and Zhalfir restored in its place. Its armies were stopped; the damage to people, sparks and planar boundaries was not simply reversed.
