One world between daylight, darkness and eclipse

Lorwyn & Shadowmoor

The peoples of a humanless plane take different forms across Lorwyn and Shadowmoor, with unstable borderlands now revealing a third state between them.

Plane profile

A world worth knowing

Lorwyn is a pastoral realm of unending day, populated by kithkin, merfolk, boggarts, flamekin, giants, treefolk, elves, faeries and changelings. Shadowmoor is its dark counterpart, where the same peoples awaken with altered temperaments and no memory of their other lives. The contrast can reverse morality as readily as weather.

Oona once controlled the great transformation for her own ends. After her fall, the twin worldsouls Eirdu and Isilu emerged to guide a slower movement between light and shadow. Their balance is imperfect: eclipsed realms now form where the two aspects meet, preserving conflicting memories before gradually stripping inhabitants of desire and identity. The plane's current peace therefore rests beside a new, quieter danger.
