Yawgmoth entered Dominaria as a vast death cloud, overwhelming conventional resistance and turning the final battle into a struggle against the presence of Phyrexia’s god. Gerrard recovered Urza’s severed head and returned to the Weatherlight, where the scattered components of the Legacy could finally be joined.
The weapon required losses no victory could disguise. Hanna and many other defenders were already dead. Gerrard and Urza became part of the final release, while the Weatherlight and collected artifacts focused their power through Karn. The people once described as pieces made the decisive act together.
The Legacy Weapon destroyed Yawgmoth and ended the invasion. Its combined powerstones transferred Urza’s spark to Karn, transforming the silver golem into a planeswalker. Dominaria survived scarred, the Weatherlight Saga closed around absent friends, and Karn inherited both freedom and responsibility from a plan built before he could consent to either.
