Ten teams chase one manufactured spark across three worlds, until stopping for other people becomes the only victory that matters.

Three worlds as one course

The Grand Prix links Avishkar, Amonkhet and Muraganda while revealing three very different recoveries.

Avishkar presented the polished face of interplanar connection: roaring engines, live commentary and a capital proud of rebuilding after invasion and revolution. Yet Mohar and other former Consulate loyalists watched the celebration as evidence that the world had abandoned its proper order. The same streets could therefore represent collective reinvention to Sita and humiliating dispossession to her father.

Amonkhet received the race from within a recovery built by living and dead together. Naktamun's people had survived Bolas, famine and Phyrexia; new gods and returning water gave hope a physical shape. The Champions of Amonkhet raced not to escape their world but to bring the Aetherspark home as a shared resource. When a charioteer died protecting Zahur and was raised among the honoured dead, the team demonstrated a relationship with sacrifice entirely different from Winter's fear or Chandra's impulse.

Muraganda refused the fiction that an official route made the race welcome. Avishkari planners had negotiated with the Saurid Autocracy and treated one power's agreement as consent from jungles, raiders, druids, oozes and colossal animals. Moonfalls broke the terrain while local fighters attacked an intrusion they had never authorised. The racers entered expecting a difficult stage and found a world responding to them as a wound.
