A festival of invention became a confiscation machine, and a family reunion grew into a fight over who owns the future.

Victory with a missing piece

The revolt broke Tezzeret’s rule and believed the Bridge ruined, while the essential danger quietly left the plane with him.

Heart of Kiran approached the Aether Spire carrying Hope of Ghirapur, a thopter designed by Rashmi and Saheeli to disable the Bridge. Dovin damaged the plan, forcing the attackers to improvise again. Liliana confronted Tezzeret inside while the wider battle prevented the Consulate from concentrating every defence around him.

Tezzeret escaped, the visible Bridge lay in pieces and a reformed Consulate began releasing prisoners and returning authority. Pia chose the slower work of reconstruction. Chandra chose to leave with the Gatewatch after time with her mother, turning departure from a childhood wound into a decision rather than another forced exile.

The victory contained a hidden failure. Tezzeret preserved the Planar Bridge for Bolas and later carried its mechanism in his own body. Kaladesh had still achieved something real: it removed the system using safety to confiscate imagination. But the missing technology demonstrates why a local ending can become the first mechanism of a later Multiversal war.
