Jace builds a painless second Multiverse and discovers why no mind can improve existence by cutting away its contradictions

Rooms Built from Memory

Tam frees Liliana while Vraska and her allies cross Jace's worst memories to recover the selves he imprisoned there.

Tam releases Liliana by exploiting the difference between her and Professor Opal. A dead chicken gives the necromancer material the Echoverse did not expect; power flows through the copied woman until Opal becomes a lich bound to her original. Liliana chooses to confront Jace, hoping experience can reach him where argument has failed.

The others move through memories as hostile environments. They cross the nightmare of compleation to retrieve the Nihilist and the overwhelming noise of Zendikar to find the Warden, a self built around control and isolation. Each rescue adds a capability and a wound. The plan becomes stronger precisely because no single quality is asked to govern the rest.

Portals connect the prisons through moments Jace once survived by becoming narrower. Vraska and her companions now reverse that habit, carrying each abandoned part toward reunion. The final pieces include a Soldier who learned violence under Alhammarret and a Survivor who knows that a necessary death is still terrifying.
