Moiren does not praise suffering, but she refuses the claim that a meaningful life can be manufactured by deleting every wound. Care matters because loss is possible.
Tam's telepathy reaches the being sealed in Innistrad's moon. Emrakul regards damaged worlds as growth to be pruned and recognises the artificial reality attached to Tam's maker. She offers to consume the Echoverse. Tam breaks contact, horrified that the first available solution resembles another apocalypse.
Vraska's party enters Hexhaven and meets Professor Opal. The familiar face cannot hide the emptiness beneath it. Streets, students and institutions reproduce a world without reproducing the histories that make people themselves. The travellers understand that they have not entered a healed Multiverse, but Jace's enormous argument about which parts of life deserve to exist.
